This is my 6th stay here. Look at my previous reports. Beautiful weather his time for a change. They have repaved all the streets. Park looks great. Price reflects weekly rate.

This is a converted mobile home park; nicely done. There are still sidewalks and curbs visible. There are concrete tow vehicle parking pads. Check-in couldn't have been easier. The young girl previously mentioned, ran down and guided me in. She was very helpful when asked about local services. Pull-throughs are a misnomer. You can pull through if there is no one in the space behind you. I doubt the 100 spaces quoted. Very clean. The grass is mowed. Walking distance to historic Fort Bridger, a state park. Suggested if you are a history buff. The museum has a good selection of mountain man era books. Wifi worked great. If back this way, will definitely stop in again.

What everyone else has said plus...Watch out for the bear! Don't leave anything out especially small dogs. Don't miss the Boardwalk Restaurant. White tablecloth first class dining. Great food. Closed Thursdays. One block west. I'll be back when I have more time.

The rate is after the Value Kard discount. Hosts were very friendly. This IS the desert folks. I would cost a fortune to keep more than a little grass green. They were constantly watering while I was there. All though there were a lot of families, kid noise was confined to the pool area. Wifi worked great. Slot was as level as most. I didn't have to unhook. Coffee is on any time. Continental breakfast from 8 to 10 am. Store is small but has necessaties. I will return.

The nightly rate was for a site with electric and water only. I stopped for one night with no reservation. They were full up but found room for me. Very friendly folks. This was my second time to stay here. I will be back.

The attendants were two young people. Very friendly and business like. Described all services available. Encouraging for this day and age. I purchased a pizza (great) at check-in to be delivered. They got busy in the office and it took longer than stated. Apologized and gave me a 2 liter drink for waiting. Nothing special. Just a level, shady space. Good wifi. Many families were swimming.

Parts of it are a mess. They are rebuilding the streets. Major work, big equipment. Detours. There was a fellow in a truck with www.koa.com in big letters on the side. He told me there was major renovation going on. I'm not sure, but I assume he was perhaps an inspector. The trailer park section is pretty seedy. A privacy fence to block the view would cure this complaint. I was near the office and wifi was good. Kind of a squirelly way to connect though. As others have said, nothing to write home about but I will be back. It is the only game in town. It looks as though they are trying to improve things. New owners, perhaps.

Nice park. Best, fastest wifi I've seen. Wal-Mart, fuel and Perkins restuarant nearby. And, of course, Cabela's. Friendly attendants. I'll be back.

This is my second time to stay here. Wonderful folks, Norm and Linda, live on site. Called me by name when I pulled in. I just missed a fish fry the day before. See my June 2008 review. Nothing has changed except my peace of mind. Highly recommended.

I stayed here because of good reviews. I wasn't disappointed. This is great. Friendly staff. Well maintained. Level pad. Concrete walk and patio with picnic table. The address is 5089 County Lane 138; Carthage, MO 64836. It is east of the 71/571 split on the south side of town.

The train was my biggest complaint. Management was very helpful. Mine was just an overnight stay. We would stay again.

Great management. Helped me hook up. Good WIFI. Metered propane. You pay only for what you get. I topped off two partially full tanks. Movies to rent or purchase. Has cabins for rent. Eight more coming. Small store. Another former KOA.

I've stayed here five times in the last 12 months, once for a week ($100). I'll be here 10 days this stay. Everyone is always friendly. WiFi is good. Park is clean and convenient off Interstate (exit 116 on I 65). It was cold and rainy each time I was here (and it is again!). So there wasn't much visiting. It is convenient to the Expo Center. One exit north is all kinds of stores; gas, groceries, dining, auto parts, bank, etc. Yeah, I'll be back.

Probably the quietest park I've ever stayed in. I could actually hear the clock ticking! Looks like a mobile home park with RV sites. It was freezing cold so I asked what time they opened the next morning because I would likely need some propane. He looked at me like I had slapped him and said "Tomorrow is Sunday". I wouldn't count on being able to check in on Sunday.

I suspect this park is very busy when the weather is warm. It is right on Lake Eufala. There are sites to suit just about anyone; pull throughs, equestrian, groups, primitive tents. It was quiet. Most of the traffic seemed to be going to the Choctaw Lodge and Casino or the golf course. Staff was very friendly. Fellow in the office was very helpful. My only complaint was the signage. You had to select and make a turn before seeing a sign letting you know whether you were correct or not. The office is at the back of the park so you have no idea what Turkey Flat or Echo Ridge mean until you find the office. There is a lot of literature available in the office covering everything the park offers. I'll be back next spring for the fishing. They are looking for "State Park Partners" to do maintenance and building projects. Might be fun to volunteer for a while.

I stayed here two nights. My space, C-5 was not the best. The electric and water were out near the road. After backing out of the road, a 25 foot hose just barely reached. I could not reach the sewer with 20 feet of hose. I just pulled forward and dumped when I left. Still, it would have been enjoyable if not for two idiots; one with an unmuffled Corvair and the other with a 4 ton juke box (Hummer). He would crank up his music and then go inside his MH to listen to it. Management was no help. When checking in, I asked about store hours. Open until 9PM. But when I went back at 7:20 it was locked up tight.

The sign says under new owners. There is signs of remodeling in the office. Nice lady at the desk. Said I could come to the office to use WI-FI. Flying J WI-FI is available if you subscribe. I'm not sure where it was located from the park. I think this may be a park for mostly permanent residents. Definitely, an overnighter.

This park is owned by the Village of Orleans, NE (pop. about 200). There are 8 spaces. There is water, electric and sewer; but not always at the same space. I think this was laid out after a keg party. First night is free, additional nights are $10. No showers or restrooms. Police patrol the streets so it is safe. Obviously, just an overnighter.

I stayed here for 2 weeks. Rate is $100/week. They guide you into your spot and help hook up. They have several guests that have been coming for years. The second night I was there, they had a cookout for a departing longtimer. Everyone was invited. There was an ice cream social the second week. Deer and turkey visited daily. An undeveloped area is like a park (mowed). There is an open shelter for groups. All spaces are pea gravel. Common areas are grass. Shower/restroom building is clean. Whole park is spotless. Potted plants are cared for daily. The only drawback, if it can be called that, is the Bar-B-Que place a quarter mile up the highway has a live band out back on Saturday until midnight. I'll certainly go back. Sedalia is an historic town with a lot to see for its size.

They led you right to your spot and helped you park. Trash pickup is continuous. Anytime they are by, they pickup any trash. Level concrete pad. Kind of neat watching the tugs and barges on the river. I was told WIFI was down when I checked in. A tech was working on it and should be up in 2 hours. It was. They have two catfish ponds. Though I didn't try it, I'm told the fishing is good. I will definitely stay again.
